I love photoshop! it is most widely known for photo manipulation. But it has so many other uses. I'm still pretty much a beginner but I'm learning new tricks everyday. it is important as a designer that I learn as much as possible so I spend many a day reading tutorials and putting them into practice. my favorite tutorials to follow are ones for creating funky text effects so today i've been messing around with text effects and these two images are the finished products.

 





 

In a future post I'll compile a list of some of the best sites to visit for Photoshop tutorials!

    These look great! I was wondering, as a designer myself and a beginner at Photoshop, if you could post the links to the tutorials? Or maybe post a tutorial yourself on how to do this?
