Create Gold Metallic Effect 3D text in Photoshop

So yesterday I showed you how to create letterpress effect text in Photoshop and today I'm going to show you how to create Gold metallic effect 3D text. Like the letterpress effect it is very easy to achieve.

So first of all we create a new canvas in our background colour of choice. I chose white.

Then we choose our font of choice (I chose to use Lobster again). Write your text using the colour #c7b290.



Then navigate to Layer>Layer Style>Drop Shadow.

Set it to the settings below.



Press OK.

Navigate to Layer>Layer Style>Inner Shadow and use the settings shown below.



Press OK.

Then lastly navigate to Layer>Layer Style>Bevel and Emboss and use the settings shown in the image below.



Press OK.

It will leave you with a beautiful 3D gold effect text like I have here.
